How to write a scanner review (template)

Thinking about a scanner? The best advice comes from people who’ve used one on a real car. If you own a scanner (or used to), please share how it went. Copy the template below into a new topic and fill in what you can. Short and honest beats long and polished.

Title your topic like this: Scanner name: what you scanned (e.g. “Revopoint MIRACO: 964 engine bay and rear subframe”)

A few ground rules

• Review what you’ve actually used. Tell us if you got it free or at a discount from the maker.
• Numbers help: file size, triangle count, scan time, and how well a printed part fit.
• Comparing two scanners? One topic per scanner, and link between them.
• Be fair. Every scanner has limits, and knowing them is what makes a review useful.
